Corinth is a quaint little village in Saratoga County, Upstate New York. The Hudson River winds peacefully through the area, making it a favorite vacation spot for summer tourists looking for a place that has swimming, boating, fishing and waterskiing all centrally located. Corinth has a public beach with a lifeguard on duty during the summer season.
For winter vacationers, come and enjoy the snow - West Mountain skiing is just 7 minutes away. Walk to ice skating, ice fishing, sledding - close to snowmobile trails and cross-country skiing. Take a snowshoe walk-in-the-woods with members of the Corinth Snowshoe Association (Corinth is the 'Snowshoe Capital of the World').
Summer is great here! The public boat docks and boat launch are adjacent to
the beach. Three new boat docks have been added recently. If you didn't bring a
boat, you can rent a kayak or canoe. The beach is also where "Jessup's Landing
Pathway" begins. It is a paved walkway running along the scenic banks of the
Hudson River, taking you past the boat docks, under the bridge, through Curtis
Park (a lovely picnic spot), past the waterfall, and upward into the
Pagenstecher Park, a perfect place to view the waterfalls, as well as a great
place to find shade and enjoy a picnic in the summer.
July begins our annual Independence Day celebrations, which include the parade,
fireworks, craft and variety market, carnival, boat rides and barbecues. It's a
town-wide celebration with fun for all ages.
In August we're host to the annual Corinth Bluegrass Festival and the town-wide
garage sale.
In the fall, we have spectacular fall foliage! Celebrate fall with our Fall
Festival. The views along the river and of the mountains are incredible.
In the winter, you can always count on the snow and cold temperatures for
snowshoeing, skiing, sliding, skating, snowmobiling and snowman-making. We are
truly "A Winter Wonderland!" In early December, we have a wonderful
"Hometown Christmas Celebration."
Come and enjoy the serenity of Corinth, and still be only 15 minutes away from all the faster-paced attractions and entertainment offered in our neighboring communities of Saratoga and Lake George.
