One of the greatest impacts of the 2020 presidential election has entailed the reveal of socialism’s prevalence within the left-wing.
Time after time, Democrat leaders and candidates tout the asinine narrative that socialist policies will engender opportunity and a level playing field for all. The truth of the matter is that socialism only guarantees poverty and mediocrity while delivering a death blow to innovation, ambition, and upward mobility.

America will never be a socialist nation; however, this does not mean that we should be complacent and fail to address the horrors and dangers of socialism. For this reason, President Trump will be strongly censuring socialism during his State of the Union Address later this month, per reports from Washington Examiner.
What to Expect from the Upcoming State of the Union Address
The president’s 2020 State of the Union Address is set to take place next week. Not only will Trump address the fatal perils of socialism, but he’ll also be covering the importance of reduced healthcare fees.
While addressing the nation, the president will clearly articulate the contrast between his America-First policies and Democrats’ interest in placing government first. An unnamed aide who is close to Trump also maintains that he’ll warn about the dangers of socialized healthcare, something which 2020 Democrats continue to promote via Medicare-for-All plans.

However, the dangers of socialism and the importance of quality healthcare are not the only issues that Americans should expect to hear about during this month’s State of the Union Address. The president is also expected to shine a spotlight on the merits of “school choice.” More specifically, Trump will continue to champion tax reductions which permit scholarships for young people to receive an education at private schools.
The president’s State of the Union Address will directly tie in with his 2020 presidential campaign and the message he wants to communicate to voters.
Current Events in Politics
The State of the Union Address is set to occur around the same time that the Senate acquits President Trump of abuse of power and obstruction of justice charges. On Friday, the upper chamber collectively voted against allowing additional witnesses, an act which would have dragged out impeachment proceedings for weeks to come.

In light of the aforementioned timing, Americans shouldn’t be surprised if President Trump briefly touches upon the impeachment sham during his address to the nation. Not only have these proceedings wasted weeks of time and millions of taxpayer dollars, but they also set a dangerous precedent for future presidents to come.
America has witnessed Democrats weaponize and bastardize the impeachment process simply because they fear losing to Trump once again. This is not a good legacy for any major political party to have.
