Defeating President Trump is the biggest goal for Democrats in 2020. The left cannot stand that having Trump in office means a better economy, lower taxes, and less government intrusion in the lives of the American people. Therefore, the left is eager to throw their support behind a Democrat candidate who they believe has the best chance of making Trump a one-term president.

A new poll from Fox News shows that nearly eight out of ten Democrat voters believe that Joe Biden is the candidate who is best poised to take on President Trump. This comes after the former vice president has slipped up on multiple occasions and been caught in lies about his dealings with Ukraine.
Why such a strong majority of Democrat voters believe Biden can defeat Trump in 2020 is a mystery; however, it most certainly proves that they aren’t living in the real world with the rest of Americans.
A Closer Look at Where Democrat Voters Stand
At this time, 77% of Democrats believe that the former vice president stands the best chance of beating Trump. Bernie Sanders trails behind Biden at 60%, while candidates Warren, Bloomberg, and Buttigieg come in at 59%, 55%, and 48%.
Findings from the Fox News poll do, however, confirm that Democrat voters are not presently set on backing one set candidate. At this time, however, roughly 64% of left-wingers agree with where the former vice president stands on policy issues; Buttigieg, Warren, and Sanders come in at 56%, 53%, and 49%.
Throughout his campaign for president of the United States, Biden has continuously taken various shots at Trump. In the middle of taking shots, the former vice president keeps stammering, confusing what state he’s in, and telling disturbing stories about his blonde leg hair.
Why Democrats believe Biden is in any shape to take on or debate President Trump is a mystery.
Will Biden Take on President Trump?
Right now, it’s looking more and more likely that the Democrat Party will pull their strings to ensure that Biden gets the nomination. When they do, they should not be shocked when Trump absolutely wipes the floor with the former vice president.

Biden’s policies, track record, and mental faculties will not hold up against President Trump’s. The Democrat Party ought to know better and the fact that they don’t shows they’re not truly serious about winning the election.
