U.S. Senator and 2020 Democrat Amy Klobuchar is running an interesting campaign to become president.
Despite qualifying to appear on various debate stages, Klobuchar has largely failed to distinguish herself from other low-polling candidates. Since the inception of her candidacy, the senator has not risen to the top in any polls; although, she has made it a point to allege that sexism and being a woman place her at a disadvantage in competitive politics.
During a recent interview, Klobuchar attempted to boost her campaign by lecturing the American people about courage. The 2020 Democrat’s assertions about courage come in the wake of the Senate impeachment trial and the left’s desperation to remove Trump from office.
Of course, Klobuchar likened the antics of the left to courage, stating that the impeachment sham is a “metaphor” for fighting on a battlefield, documents Washington Examiner.
Reviewing Klobuchar’s Statements on Courage and Impeachment
During an interview with CNN, the senator hailed House impeachment manager Adam Schiff as a figure of courage. This comes in spite of Schiff being caught in numerous lies about his interactions with the whistleblower and his supposed knowledge of Trump’s phone call with Ukraine. Schiff has as much courage as Benedict Arnold; however, this didn’t stop Klobuchar from defending him in the name of sticking it to Trump.
Per the 2020 Democrat’s own admission, she believes that Schiff’s conduct represents that of a noble soldier fighting in war. Klobuchar furthermore lauded other controversial figures, such as deceased Sen. John McCain who voted against the repeal of Obamacare.
The senator’s remarks about Schiff’s supposed courage come as Republican and Trump attorneys continue to reveal the falsehoods of Schiff and other impeachment-happy Democrats.
The Face of Real Courage
Real courage involves standing up to corruption and dishonesty. Despite what Klobuchar may believe, Adam Shiff is not a figurehead of courage, nor should he be portrayed as such.
If the Democrats were truly courageous, they would call off their impeachment sham. The left doesn’t truly believe that having Trump in office is a danger; if they did, they wouldn’t have sat on impeachment articles for weeks in a ploy to manipulate the Senate. At this point, Democrats will say and do anything if they think it might get Trump out of office.
President Trump, his attorneys, and the Republicans in Congress are the true figures of courage. There is nothing braver than standing up to organized, relentless, and crazed corruption. No matter what the Democrats tell themselves, history will not remember them as courageous individuals.
