On Friday morning, two advocates for the pro-life movement were assaulted in Baltimore, Maryland, outside a Planned Parenthood clinic, as per the police reports.
KATV reported on Tuesday that “the assault took place just before 10:30 a.m. at the North Howard Street clinic, as per the police. The two victims, aged 73 and 80, are both men.”
Pro-Life Advocates Severely Wounded in Alleged Attack in Baltimore
John Roswell, a local pro-life supporter, informed the outlet via email that the alleged attack victims, Dick Schafer and Mark Crosby, were severely wounded.
The pro-life platform received images indicating facial injuries. Roswell stated Schafer is “recovering at home.” Crosby was rushed to a nearby hospital for medical attention.

Roswell provided details about the injuries, stating that Crosby’s “upper right cheekbone is entirely fractured.”
He “is bleeding from an unidentified region behind his eye. His eye socket bone is shattered and will have to be replaced with a metal one,” according to the report.
Dr. Jay Walton, President of Baltimore County Right to Life, initiated a GoFundMe campaign for Crosby’s medical expenses.
On the GoFundMe page that has now amassed almost $13,000 in donations, surpassing its $10,000 target, Walton wrote that Mark has been praying for years in front of the Baltimore City Planned Parenthood.
He said young, frightened women contemplating abortion should know they and their babies are loved.
In his email, Roswell made an allegation that the attacker asked a Planned Parenthood personnel to hold his drink before charging at Schafer.
“Mark, who was in the street, tried to come to Dick’s aid. He was hit in the face, causing him to fall to the ground, and then the man kicked him in the head,” Roswell further claimed in his email.
Video Footage Obtained in Baltimore Assault on Pro-Life Advocates
Investigators from the Baltimore City Police stated they have obtained video footage of the incident.
The Daily Signal reported tthe suspect appears to be a white man with brown hair and a full beard. He was seen wearing brown shoes, a gray T-shirt, and blue jeans.
According to CBS News, the police stated the suspect was allegedly seen walking past the two men before turning back to confront them.

The suspect reportedly appeared to be “having a visibly aggressive conversation” with one of the pro-life advocates before things turned physical.
“The suspect is then seen about to turn away but abruptly rushes towards Crosby, tackling him over a large flowerpot,” the police said.
