Last month, gun sales exploded from their rates one year prior. With the Biden administration coming into the White House, many Americans had concerns about gun control measures. After all, Biden ran on promises to infringe upon Second Amendment rights and vowed to defeat the National Rifle Association (NRA).

Over the past few weeks of the Biden presidency, the administration has already moved to pass several hyper-partisan policies. Reforms such as killing Keystone Pipeline, pushing for a higher federal minimum wage, etc., are designed to appeal to the very far left bases of the Democrat Party.

Yesterday, the Biden White House also confirmed its readiness to launch fresh gun control measures, Breitbart News confirms.

The Biden White House on Gun Control

Jen Psaki, the new White House press secretary, is responsible for keeping the media and nation up to date on the Biden administration. On Thursday, Psaki spoke with NBC News for an interview; during Psaki’s interview, she shared some very important details that gun owners especially ought to be aware of.

Per the White House press secretary, Biden is “personally committed” to pushing through gun control measures. Psaki also claimed that the Democrat president previously “took on the NRA” and eeked out two prior “wins.”

When asked about whether or not Biden would submit gun control legislation before Congress, Psaki stated that gun control proposals are already in the works.

Upholding the Second Amendment

Seeing as Democrats control both the House and the Senate, it will be a struggle for Republicans to push back against anti-gun legislation to come from the Biden administration. Now, if the GOP retakes the House or Senate majority in 2022, then blocking anti-gun bills will become much easier.

Biden has chosen to make enemies out of pro-Second Amendment rights groups, such as the National Rifle Association. However, the NRA argues that Biden would be better served by targeting criminals instead of lawful Americans who cherish their constitutional, Second Amendment rights.

Time and time again, data, studies, and real-life events have proven that gun control measures don’t impact individuals who don’t adhere to the law. Hence, the only persons stifled by gun control measures are the law-abiding citizens.
