Earlier this month, the Biden administration and Democrat lawmakers succeeded in passing the American Rescue Plan. Fewer than 10% of the $1.9 trillion legislation goes towards COVID-19 relief; however, the president and his leftist allies are touting the American Rescue Plan as the best thing ever.
Of course, the American Rescue Plan is running into some issues. Firstly, it fails to provide immediate funding to get schools reopened. This is a huge issue, seeing as the CDC has already stated that schools can safely re-engage in-person learning with only three feet of social distancing.
Another issue is the stimulus checks. While some Americans have received their $1,400 payments, others have not; this is now causing certain issues for the Biden White House, according to Newsmax.
What’s the Hold-up with Stimulus Checks?
Many Americans who have yet to get their $1,400 payments are wondering what the hold-up is. Democrats in the House of Representative are also speaking out about the matter as well.
Right now, multiple Democrat representatives claim that the Social Security Administration (SSA) has failed to deliver necessary files to the IRS. Left-wing lawmakers are also expressing concerns about “vulnerable neighbors” facing “shafting” due to the inaction of various government agencies.
It increases the Child Tax Credit from $2,000 per child to $3,000 per child for children over the age of 6 and $3,600 for children under the age of 6–and raises the age limit to 17. This means a typical family of four with two children under 6 will receive an additional $3,200.

According to filings and other documents, Americans who are suffering from delays in their stimulus checks are the ones reliant upon government benefits. Although, per the Biden administration, $325 billion worth of stimulus checks have already gone out to the American public.
Another Botched Job
Delays in stimulus check payments simply serve as another botched job to come from the Biden administration. The delays come after Biden watered down the initial $2,000 checks that he promised would come if Democrats regained the Senate majority. This, too, prompted the Democrat president to take some heat from certain members of his base.
The bill provides $130 billion to help schools serve all students — no matter where they are learning — and helps achieve President Biden’s goal to safely open the majority of K-8 schools within the first 100 days of his Administration.

As the stimulus payments are delayed, the border crisis continues to get worse. Yesterday, Biden announced that Vice President Harris will be responsible for fixing the messes that are overtaking the border.
Many Americans were interested by this, especially since Harris has also called world leaders on Biden’s behalf and taken on responsibilities generally reserved for the president.
