2020 Democrat Joe Biden continues to make headlines for various slip-ups and oral gaffes. Aside from mistaking the years of his vice presidential service and forgetting the dates of important events, Biden has also chewed on his wife’s finger and told stories about children playing with his leg hair.

To say that the 2020 Democrat is under intense scrutiny would be an understatement; however, this is something which Biden brought upon himself. Now, new reports from the Washington Examiner state that, behind closed doors, Biden plans to be a one-term president.

Of course, he would have to first win his party’s nomination and then defeat President Trump in a general election. The former may happen; however, the latter is impossible. Trump will eat Biden alive if the Democrats are foolish enough to nominate him for the 2020 race.

Why Biden is Planning to be a One-Term President

Biden, 77, is not all there and this is clear for all to see. The aforementioned blunders serve as a series of examples, along with the former vice president’s odd behavior. If Biden is having this much trouble at 77, he’s really going to be a wreck at 82 and 86.

Despite the public denial of his spokesperson, aides for the 2020 Democrat have admitted that if Biden wins the 2020 presidential election, he won’t seek a second term as president. In the wake of this news, aides are attempting to reframe this by stating that Biden openly admitting his plans could allow him to be a “transitional figure” for the Democrat Party.

An advisor for Biden also stated that the former vice president is thinking of becoming president for four years and then passing the torch over to his running mate.

Despite these reports, Biden claims that he “feels good.” Earlier this year, the 2020 Democrat stated that while he won’t commit to seeking a second term in office, Americans should “watch [him]” in order to see.

Putting the Cart Before the Horse

Biden’s belief that he could ever become president of the United States is deeply presumptuous and indicative of his decline in mental stability.

Not only are Biden’s policies subpar and in opposition to the best interests of America, but the former vice president isn’t ready to debate Trump. The president carries full energy everywhere he goes; Biden fumbles and stammers after only two sentences.

Quite frankly, Biden should not put the cart before the horse and assume that he will ever make it to the White House as president. At this time, Biden’s facing increased competition in several polls as in-party candidates Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders, and Pete Buttigieg give him a run for his money.

With each gaffe, blunder, or odd display of behavior, Biden’s lead in the polls continues to shrink.
