Since the inception of his presidency, Joe Biden continuously tries to steer Americans away from issues that are top of mind, such as the economy, crime rates, and the southern border.
Biden and his party have failed astronomically on these issues. Instead of working to fix these failures, they simply want to distract and gaslight the country.
Earlier this week, the president delivered a speech about infrastructure that not only left much to be desired, but also raised some questions.
According to Breitbart News, it is Biden’s view that a railway between Pennsylvania and New York can be built.
Reviewing Biden’s Botched Speech
This past Wednesday, the president said he was once questioned by a Pennsylvania lawmaker on how a rail with high speed would be built between various communities.
According to Biden, this is, in fact, feasible. It merely demands “more money in the pot.” Yet, Biden didn’t bother to go into step-by-step details about how such a railway would come to be.

The closest the president came to getting into the logistics of this was saying fewer vehicles would be on the roads. This speech was widely panned as Biden ultimately being out of touch and not knowing what he was talking about.
This would not be the first time the president made lofty promises with no plan for execution. During the 2020 presidential election, Biden said he would “cure cancer” as the commander-in-chief. This, too, has yet to come to fruition.
Out of Touch With the Country
As the president directs his attention toward infrastructure, most Americans are still wondering about how the economy will continue to impact their lives.
Inflation, for example, continues to be a drag in the lives of everyday people. That comes on top of growing interest rates, which are making car loans, credit card bills, and mortgages infinitely more expensive.
According to multiple projections, the Federal Reserve is going to keep moving up the interest rate into 2023. Coincidentially, inflation is also expected to continue rising into next year as well.

Critics ripped Biden for failing to get ahead of these issues and release a comprehensive plan. Biden has also been consistently called out for the ways in which his failed policies led to today’s economic predicaments.
The president’s decision to concentrate on infrastructure, which few Americans are truly focused on, simply proves that he hasn’t learned a thing.
