Democrats are largely against reopening the economy. This is something they’ve proven time and time again via leftist leadership, policies, and responses to communities across the nation that are getting back into a normal groove.
If Democrats had their way, lockdowns would remain ongoing. In 2020, when the shutdown mania first began, it was promoted as a way to “flatten the curve.” Yet, as time went on, Democrats gradually and consistently moved the goalposts just enough to interfere with reopening.
As the leader of the Democrat Party, President Joe Biden is doing all he can to circumvent the clear reopening process happening across the nation. This explains why economist Stephen Moore has criticized the 46th president’s attitudes on the economy and getting things reopened, according to Newsmax.
President Biden vs. Commonsense Economics
Yesterday, economist Stephen Moore spoke with a radio talk show about Biden’s poor and lackadaisical approach towards getting the economy reopened. Moore informed The Cats Roundtable that Biden’s professed goal of having America reopened by July 4, 2021 is just too small.
Instead, Moore explained that by the end of next month or early May 2021, the U.S. economy should be fully reopened and re-engaged. Additionally, the right-wing economist pointed out that many states like Florida, Texas, Georgia, etc., have already reopened.
Last week, I signed the American Rescue Plan into law and direct payments have begun going out to folks across the country. I know there are a lot of questions about how to receive yours, so we put together this guide: https://t.co/p7m1hVmTCb

Moore then stressed that the COVID-19 vaccine is going to play a significant role in getting the economy reopened; hence, he also noted that getting Americans vaccinated at a “rapid pace” is deeply imperative.
What Happens After the Economy is Fully Reopened?
In further talks with The Cats Roundtable, Moore expressed that the economy opening up again will do wonders for America.
Per the economist, stores, airports, movie theaters, etc. will have no shortage of consumers eager to get out and spend. However, Moore also warned that New York will likely have a tough road ahead due to the real and extensive damage done from ongoing, stringent lockdowns.
I will use every power I have and I will not relent until we beat this virus.
But I need you. I need every American to do their part.
Get vaccinated when it’s your turn, keep washing your hands, stay socially distanced, and keep wearing masks.

Americans across the country are eagerly ready for a complete reopening of the economy. Travel is already going up with many people visiting states like Florida that are open for businesses and ready for normalcy once more.
