In real time, the United States continues to face very real setbacks on the watch of the Biden administration. Crime is out of control, as are inflation and various issues at the southern border.
Polls continue to demonstrate that pluralities of Americans are financially insecure and not at all confident in the direction the nation is heading.
Joe Biden, on the other hand, seems to have better things to do. The president is refusing to reverse his damaging policies that are causing problems for the American people. Likewise, Biden’s campaigning for his party to remain in power after the midterms, despite ongoing policy failures.
The agenda to hold onto power at all costs explains why Biden will be visiting New Jersey and New York later this week to fundraise, per The Hill.
What to Know About Biden’s Upcoming Fundraising Efforts
In Red Bank, New Jersey and Poughkeepsie, New York, the current president will boast about what he views as his economic wins, along with campaigning for the Democrat Party.

Biden’s plans to brag about the economy are strange, to say the least, considering how much economic damage has ensued on his watch as president. One could argue that if Biden truly cared about the economy, he’d be fixing the problems he’s created.
These upcoming visits mark a pattern of Biden choosing to campaign for various events and candidates via the Democratic National Committee.
Americans Get the Final Say
Regardless of how much Biden increases his fundraising efforts, Americans will ultimately get the final say as to whether or not Democrats or Republicans win the midterms.
As it stands today, all signs seem to indicate GOP victories are on the horizon. With Biden’s approval rating consistently struggling, this too is another factor that works against Democratic candidates, regardless of how much the president campaigns.
Despite fundraising events that Biden attends, Americans are still forced to contend with the fallout of his leadership. That fallout materalizes via less safe communities, higher gas prices, inflation, an overrun southern border, and more.

The White House’s refusal to address or fix these issues isn’t going to make them disappear. Republicans, on the other hand, are continuing to make the case as to why they should be elected into public office this year.
If the GOP manages to regain just one chamber of Congress next month, this will shatter the current monopoly on power in the federal government that Democrats have enjoyed thus far.
