Joe Biden continues to try rewriting the narrative of what he’s done to the United States. Because of him forcing through reckless spending bills, eviscerating America’s energy independence, and putting the nation’s interests last, prices are through the rooftops.
Americans can barely afford to buy groceries these days. Credit card debt is on the rise and some people are trying to find multiple jobs in order to make ends meet.
Nevertheless, Biden’s claimed that America will be fine, as he continues to deny the country is facing a recession. He’s also been downplaying inflation on a consistent basis.
Though comments the president made on Monday about gas prices were not only false, but they’ve also been rightly panned as such, per Breitbart News.
The Big Lie From Biden
While speaking at the White House yesterday, the president claimed some states have gas costs that are less than $3.00 per gallon. This is demonstrably untrue, as not a single state in the nation has gas prices that are under $3.00.
The average gas cost under former President Trump was below the amount referenced by Biden; though sadly, those days are long gone. Where Trump respected the nation’s energy independence and improved it, Biden’s sought to tear it down at every single turn.
Joe Biden claims again — falsely — that gas is below $3/gal in some states.
There are ZERO states with an average price under $3/gal — and gas prices remain $1.34/gal higher than when Biden took office. pic.twitter.com/wG2oVAXgWU

This isn’t boding well for the United States. Later during his remarks on Monday, Biden proclaimed the country has enjoyed “historic progress.” Though the president also repeatedly told gas providers to lower the fees they’re charging consumers.
Unfortunately, this will not be feasible unless the Biden administration seriously adjusts its energy costs. Of course, it’s been made clear time and time again that the White House has no intention of creating any such adjustments.
Therefore, gas prices will continue to be many times more expensive than necessary.
Holding Biden’s Feet to the Fire
With all that’s facing the nation these days, it’s reckless and irresponsible for the president to continue lying to the country about various issues.
Therefore, the onus lies on Americans and other leaders to keep calling out Biden when he’s dishonest about the country’s gas prices or other pressing matters.
Gas prices have increased for the sixth straight day.
U.S. oil reserves are at the lowest level in 4 decades.
Thanks, Joe Biden.

Right now, the president is doing his utmost to paint a rosy image of the nation with the midterm elections being a little over one month away. Ultimately, Biden’s hoping this will sway the country into keeping Democrats in the House and Senate majorities.
Though if the November elections turn out to be a referendum on Biden’s presidency, policies, and leadership, Republicans will win by a landslide.
What do you make of Joe Biden lying about the nation’s gas prices? Do you believe these lies are motivated by the midterm elections? In the comments area, feel free to let us know.
