Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) took to social media on Thursday to make fun of her colleague, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), for the contentious town hall event she hosted earlier in the week.
At a town hall on Wednesday, AOC attempted to defend herself against two guests who charged her with being a phony and favoring nuclear war.
Hated By Constituents
With the video of the contentious exchange, Boebert tweeted that when AOC genuinely sits down with her constituents, she is informed she has thrown them off at every turn.
She ran for office on a platform of being an outsider, but now she’s just become, Sandy Pelosi!
On the rare occasions that @AOC actually spends time with her constituents, she is reminded that she has sold them out at every turn.

At the event, one of the protesters said to AOC that Tulsi Gabbard left the Democrat Party because of the party’s support for war and militarism.
She ran for office despite being an outsider! Despite this, she has been voting for legislation that would launch the conflict in Ukraine.
He persisted in his line of questioning, demanding to know why she would risk the lives of American citizens.
A veteran firefighter questioned Ocasio-Cortez at the same town hall regarding her position on immigration. Then another constituent inquired about the Democratic candidate’s views on the increase in crime.
As a response, AOC posted a screenshot of Boebert’s tweet on her account.
The Democratic candidate responded to Boebert’s account: “Hey Boebert, you seem to have us confused.” She claimed she routinely interacts with her constituents, whereas Boebert is “too scared to hold regular town halls open to all.”
Not Good Enough
Boebert’s response was to make a note of AOC’s decision to reply with a screengrab, as opposed to retweeting footage of the contentious exchange.
She stated she noticed AOC took a snapshot of her tweet, instead of communicating the actual one, along with the footage of AOC being completely torn to pieces by her own constituents.

The Republican continued by saying she has been consistent in both her campaign and her governing. It has been suggested that AOC betrayed her supporters. At this point, she is the machine.
Even the previous year, Boebert made fun of AOC by trolling her with a garment that was a parody of the progressive’s extravagant “Tax the Rich” Met Gala gown. Boebert’s scarlet outfit had enormous white lettering that read “Let’s Go Brandon” written on them.
It’s more of a movement than a phrase at this point! She sent out a tweet with a caption that described a picture of the outfit.
After NASCAR fans’ shout of “f*** Joe Biden” was covered up as a “Let’s go Brandon” cheer at a race, “Let’s Go Brandon” became a jab against President Joe Biden and his supporters in the media.
