On the left side of the political aisle, there is a lot of interest in who Joe Biden will select as his running mate.
The presumptive Democrat nominee has maintained that he will choose a woman as his vice presidential running mate; however, some people on the left are saying that Biden ought to pick a black female to run on the 2020 ticket with him.

Last week, the issue of Biden choosing a black woman as his running mate occurred when The Breakfast Club host Charlamagne Tha God interviewed Biden. The former vice president maintained during the interview that “multiple black women” are being considered as potential running mates.
During a Sunday interview with MSNBC, Charlamagne stated that if Biden chooses not to select a black woman as his running mate, this will create “voter depression” in the black community, reports Breitbart News.
Charlamagne on the Push for Biden to Select a Black Female Running Mate
When speaking with MSNBC, Charlamagne expressed dismay over rumors that Biden is considering failed 2020 Democrat Amy Klobuchar as his running mate. The Breakfast Club host explained that because of the black community’s loyalty to the Democrat Party, they want to see Biden select a black woman as his vice presidential pick.

Charlamagne also went on to claim that the black community will experience “voter depression” if Biden selects a white or non-black woman as a running mate.
The Breakfast Club host then explained that the presumptive Democrat nominee needs to “energize” the left-wing base and encourage black voters to come out and vote against Trump, rather than sitting out the 2020 election.
Joe Biden has yet to issue a public response to these remarks from Charlamagne Tha God.
