CDC Indulged in DEI Wokeness During COVID-19 Shutdowns

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) seems to have utilized the peak periods of school shutdowns during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The CDC did this in order to immerse its staff into woke training on “diversity, equity, and inclusion,” or DEI, already well-known for signifying a Marxist-Communist contagion.

DEI Nonsense More Important Than K-12 Education

The CDC leadership remained concentrated on developing its internal DEI training, just as most K-12 schools nationwide were shut down in 2021. Students and parents alike were eager to learn when they would be reopened.

This has been revealed by the Americans for Public Trust (APT), a right-wing watchdog nonprofit, based on CDC documents that it obtained, Fox News reported.

The papers showed just as most schools in the United States were in lockdown mode in February and March 2021, the leadership of the public health agency focused on how best to teach their staff about workplace microaggressions, unconscious bias, etc.

Caitlin Sutherland, the APT executive director, told the news outlet the CDC was refusing to reveal its actual training materials; the conservative nonprofit filed a court appeal on the matter.

How Can the CDC Be ‘US-Centric’?!

The internal CDC papers show that the Equal Employment Opportunity Advisory Group (EEOAG) members at the health agency had to complete their DEI training. This had to be done before March 15, 2021, when it was set to be made available to all employees.

The EEOAG employees were then made to take a survey asking them for detailed feedback on the course content.

One of the feedback comments declared the CDC managers were “steeped in denial” since they allegedly didn’t accept they could themselves be “biased or prejudiced” when making decisions.

In another of the comments, the employee questioned if the CDC training had to be “US-culture centric,” since the public health body of the US government actually conducted operations in over 40 countries worldwide.

Sutherland made it clear she was outraged that the CDC was dealing with “these woke trainings” at a time when it should have been making “every effort to reopen” K-12 schools throughout the United States.
