As the midterm elections get closer to ending, many Americans are already looking ahead to the 2024 presidential race. This election will have a huge impact on the nation and determine the direction in which we go.
In many ways, the November midterms are widely expected to be a bellwether for the 2024 presidential election. The congressional races will also reveal whether most Americans are happy with the current power balance in the federal government or ready to bring about a change.
Naturally, as Americans look ahead, they’re wondering about whether Trump or Biden will run in the next presidential election. Though if Colorado senatorial candidate Joe O’Dea gets his way, neither of them will run, per Newsmax.
O’Dea on the 2024 Presidential Election
While speaking with Meet the Press, O’Dea was clear that 2024 shouldn’t be a repeat of the 2020 election. The Colorado GOP candidate said he disagrees with Trump saying he’d pardon folks arrested for their involvement in the January 6 riots if he were to be reelected.
After admitting he’s not expecting Trump to stump for him, O’Dea confirmed he doesn’t want Biden to run again. It’s the Colorado Republican’s view that having a rematch of Trump vs. Biden would rip the country apart.

O’Dea likewise informed Meet the Press that he believes most Americans share this view as well. Later, the Colorado Republican called out Democrats for their refusal to address the many issues stemming from unfettered illegal immigration under the Biden administration.
While O’Dea isn’t interested in a Trump presidential candidacy (or a Biden one), he has expressed support for Florida Governor Ron DeSantis making a presidential run.
A Chance For New Blood
The 2024 presidential election will pose an opportunity for new blood and new candidates to emerge. This is applicable to both Republicans and Democrats.
Right now, it’s debatable as to whether or not Biden will run for office again. If he does not, then this opens the door for any number of Democrats to come forward and run for the nomination, with the winner facing off against whomever the Republican nominee may be.
We need a presidential candidate who actually stands up to open-borders fanatics.

Many Democrats have used the past several months to opine all the reasons they believe Biden’s got no business running for the White House again.
In this year’s November races, the midterms will determine which party has power for the remainder of Biden’s current presidential term. One other thing’s for sure: once the 2024 presidential election season arrives, there are going to be a lot of factors and moving parts.
What do you make of Joe O’Dea’s view that neither Trump nor Biden should run for president again in the 2024 White House election? In the comments field below, please feel welcome to let us know whether you agree or disagree.
