The 2024 presidential election is right around the corner. Some very big changes could be arriving, as politicians keep up with the times and try to make the case of why they should be elected.
This upcoming presidential race also arrives amid concerns about election integrity and worries about possible interference. Division in the United States, inflation, border security, and other critical matters are likewise projected to influence the upcoming White House election.
As we get closer to the 2024 season, Republicans and others on the right may take steps to distance themselves from the establishment wing of the media, according to Breitbart News.
What to Know About 2024
Conservatives haven’t had the best relationship with the mainstream media over the years. In fact, the media has been routinely accused of intentional bias against conservatives and of promoting left-wing views and ideologies.
Right now, at least half of Americans today believe the mainstream media is willingly deceiving folks and leading them astray when it comes to reporting the news. This is driving reports of the 2024 presidential election seeing conservative candidates distancing themselves from the press altogether.
Fortunately, they're so unhinged that people are waking up to the scam.
In a recent survey of the public, "Fifty percent of Americans feel most national news organizations intend to mislead, misinform or persuade the public."

Right now, data shows that only 35% of the country expects the mainstream media to be honest and unbiased about what’s truly happening.
Despite longstanding allegations of bias against conservatives, the mainstream media has not taken steps to redeem itself in the eyes of many Americans. As a result of that, the news cycle throughout the 2024 race could appear very different than it has in years past.
Bad News for the Mainstream Media
If Republicans do cut the cord with the establishment media as projected, this could hurt the revenue and ratings of the latter. Certain outlets, such as CNN, have already been struggling with their viewership and ratings.
The Washington Post has also faced similar challenges, as it reported taking financial losses in 2022. Like CNN, the Washington Post is well-known for adopting left-wing slants on various issues.
Given the latest developments, there are some speculations that the establishment media may clean up how it covers conservatives, if nothing else, for the purpose of not further losing viewers, ratings, and revenue.
Excellence over victimhood. Merit over grievance. Self-governance over aristocracy. That’s what it means to be American. If the GOP owns that, we win 2024 in a landslide. pic.twitter.com/F6DtkSrQCm

As things currently stand, a growing number of conservative leaders are deciding the juice isn’t worth the squeeze when it comes to the mainstream media.
The establishment certainly has the power to change that, if it so chooses. Though whether or not it will do so is a different story.
Nevertheless, alternate right-wing media platforms and sites may experience a boost as the 2024 presidential election gets started.
