Corporate Media Turns on Bernie Sanders

Since launching his presidential campaign, Bernie Sanders has attempted to brand himself as the “unstoppable” leader of a bold, progressive revolution. This revolution has been largely derailed, however, as Joe Biden has more than seven endorsements from former 2020 contenders, coupled with a significant lead in delegates.

Sanders didn’t have a very good night on either Super Tuesday or the 10th; however, he still remains in the 2020 election thus far. While the DNC’s animosity towards Sanders became abundantly clear in 2016 and remains to this day, the corporate media is also turning on the socialist candidate.

Reports from Breitbart News confirm the shift, with many in the media urging Sanders to suspend his presidential campaign.

Why the Corporate Media Wants Sanders Out

In a nutshell, the corporate media regards Sanders as a waste of time. They don’t believe he’s worth covering because the corporate media doesn’t view the socialist as a viable candidate to win the Democrat Party’s nomination. All of this explains why outlets such as Politico, Atlantic, and others have written off Sanders as finished.

This growing sentiment towards Sanders comes as a result of his consistent failure to secure wins and delegates in various states. However, the DNC has largely contributed to Sanders’ failure by cutting deals behind the scenes to get endorsements, money, and other forms of support behind Biden.

Who knows where the 2020 primary election would be if the race were truly fair and not subjected to manipulation and puppeteering?

When Will Sanders Drop Out?

Earlier in March, the socialist candidate stated that he will stop running for office if Biden has more delegate than him at the convention. At this time, though, Sanders remains committed to his candidacy.

Following Tuesday’s disastrous outcome for the Sanders campaign, the socialist spoke with supporters on Wednesday. During his statements, Bernie Sanders vowed to continue running for office and stated that he looks forward to debating Biden on the 15th.
