Following a thorough review, Meta stated on Wednesday that they’d be restoring access to former President Donald Trump’s Facebook and Instagram accounts.
At the time, Democrats were blaming Trump’s remarks at a neighboring “Stop the Steal” rally for the behavior of his loyalists who broke into the Capitol building on January 6, 2021.
Meta later revoked access to Trump’s accounts.
Democrats Tried to Ban Trump
There were months of silent legislating by Democrats such as Adam Schiff, the former chair of the House Intelligence Committee, and others, who left messages to Meta, pleading for them to maintain Trump’s suspension virtually forever on the grounds he posed a threat to democracy.
Nevertheless, the conclusion to restore Trump’s access was reached.
Meanwhile, in an unexpected turn of events in this story, the ACLU — which over the past several decades has largely reduced itself to serving as the obsequious propaganda channel for woke far-left, anti-free speech Democrats — posted a tweet in favor of Trump’s restoration to both social media channels.
It argued that the former president is one of several of the nation’s leading prominent politicians and the general populace has a large and powerful desire to hear his speech.
The ACLU issued an announcement that was approximately as rational as one could expect these days, but despite the fact they finally got it right, their ardent fans did not agree.

For example, podcast host and contributor to Salon, Bob Cesca, was furious.
Cesca blasted Trump by saying he had a chance to engage with regular kids and chose to exploit that possibility, resulting in the instability of democracy and a coup. He poses a threat to civilization.
Additionally, members of the ACLU will be among those detained in large numbers of dissidents if Trumpism ever realizes its full potential.
In an inadvertently amusing tweet, clinical sexologist Stefanie Iris Weiss blathered on and on regarding purported fascist speech.

Privately owned media outlets are not required to publish or broadcast virulent fascist speech. This is not protected freedom of speech under the Constitution. He is free to rant in public, but neither Meta nor Twitter can be pressured to share it, she continued to say.
She continued by saying they’d completely lost track and they won’t ever get another contribution from her.
Democrats in a Rage
A second blue tick leftist was equally surprised.
Umair Haque, who independent journalist Glenn Greenwald referred to as one of the most hostile guys on Twitter, seethed by saying sarcastically that he loves how the ACLU couldn’t tell the difference between hate speech and free speech.
They are actually in opposition to one another because the goal of hatred is to restrict freedoms. He ended his rant by stating it’s truly something to witness.
