Democrats in Congress Demand That Biden Steps Down!

After a number of polls showed Americans aren’t too keen on having Biden as their candidate in 2024, significant pushback against Biden’s second presidential run started to emerge from none other than the Democrat Party itself.

Namely, two congressional Democrats have voiced their opposition to the administration’s proposal, those being Representatives Dean Phillips and Angie Craig.

This makes them the highest-ranked Democrats to be publicly opposed to another term with the current president.

No one’s happy with the Biden administration

During a radio show that aired last week, Phillips stated the country would be better off with a new generation of Democrats, rather than career politicians like Biden, whom he will not be supporting in 2024.

Craig, on the other hand, took a much more aggressive approach to the matter. He assured he will do anything in his power to prevent Biden from running for office in 2024, on account of the same reasons as Phillips.

What’s more, it seems Biden has officially become less popular among the general populace in the US than former President Trump.

Only 61% of Americans believe Trump shouldn’t run for president in 2024, as opposed to the 64% against Biden running a second term.

An additional poll from Politico showed things aren’t much different in the Republican Party either, though. More than half of GOP voters are looking to find a suitable replacement for Trump.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is currently the top competitor.

Our nation’s oldest president

Aside from the myriad of political reasons as to why Biden shouldn’t be a presidential candidate in two years, his age often becomes the topic of discussion.

The president is set to be 82 years old by the time 2024 rolls around.

Things aren’t looking much better for Trump, either. He will be turning 78 that year. Given both parties’ focus on the following generations, we may actually see two exceptionally young candidates from both the Democrats and the Republicans.

Unfortunately for us, though, AOC is one of the Democrats’ top candidates and there’s no telling what she’s got in plan for this beautiful country, should she become our nation’s first female president.

As for Trump, he never left an official statement regarding his hypothetical 2024 presidential run; although he has alluded to it several times, none of which provided any conclusive evidence for his future plans.

The former president may not be the crowd’s favorite, but anyone who kept track of his accomplishments from 2016 to 2020 is well aware of how far his charisma and dedication to serving this country can get us.

Fact is, America isn’t what it was some ten years ago. With that in mind, there’s no better slogan than the one promising to make it better again.
