The Biden administration is consistently censoring conservative voices on social media platforms.
Multiple federal government departments, including the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the Department of Justice (DOJ), are involved in manipulating free speech in America.
DHS Curbing Free Speech on Social Media
Currently, the state of Missouri and Louisiana are suing the Biden administration for suppressing the flow of information regarding Hunter Biden’s laptop, coronavirus, and the integrity of mail-in ballots.
Even though the Biden administration is facing the lawsuit, it is still attempting to censor opposing opinions about midterm elections, coronavirus, and America’s haphazard withdrawal from Afghanistan last year.
The DHS is one of the most controversial departments suppressing free speech on social media.
Although the DHS disbanded its so-called Disinformation Governance Board, the federal agency is still scrutinizing free speech on a variety of issues, including vaccination, the Afghanistan war, and Ukraine aid.
It doesn't get more Orwellian than the Department of Homeland Security's "Disinformation Board” targeting American citizens.

When DHS made its disinformation board, critics from both ends of the political spectrum slammed the Biden administration for politicizing the bureaucracy, which forced the DHS to dismantle its own project.
Now, Republicans are accusing DHS of promoting a leftist narrative. According to conservative Congressman John Katko, also the ranking member of the House Committee of Homeland Security, DHS’s attempt to manipulate narratives on a wide range of issues is extremely concerning.
So, Katko continued, Americans completely disapprove of the tactics employed by the DHS in defining what is true and what is false.
Likewise, a ranking member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, Michael McCaul, noted DHS should prosecute the Biden administration if the agency is really interested in tackling disinformation regarding US withdrawal from Afghanistan.
Amid all the concerns of free speech manipulation by Republican lawmakers, DHS claimed existing disinformation is a threat to the United States’ national security.
In its statement issued to Fox News, DHS established it is countering all the disinformation campaigns that are supposed to weaken the national security of America.
Similarly, the DHS spokesperson stated many foreign adversaries of America, including Iran, China, and Russia, are always ready to exploit vulnerable Americans. So, the federal agency has to keep its eyes on prevailing misinformation on the internet.

DOJ Manipulated 2020 Election
Apart from DHS, the DOJ is also denouncing free speech in America.
Last year, the DOJ charged two Iranians for trying to manipulate the results of the 2020 presidential election in Trump’s favor; although the authenticity of the charges on both individuals remains questionable.
In his testimony in front of Congress, Deputy Assistant Attorney General Adam Hickey noted that foreign nationals interfering in America’s domestic issues are not new.
Hickey added that now foreign governments adopt modern-day tactics to intervene in domestic issues of the United States; so the government needs to curb the disinformation.
Furthermore, the FBI also pressured Facebook to suppress the distribution of the Hunter Biden laptop story before the 2020 election, as revealed by Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg.
