A property firm connected to Hunter Biden, the president’s eldest son, reportedly secured over $100 million from Russian magnate Elena Baturina. This was for a series of investments in US real estate spanning ten years, as informed sources confided to The Post.
Putin’s Associate Funneled Substantial Funds to Hunter Biden
Baturina, a widow of Moscow’s ex-mayor and a close associate of Russian leader Vladimir Putin, is among Russia’s most affluent women. She funneled substantial funds into Rosemont Realty for nationwide office building investments, as per a knowledgeable insider.
These monies facilitated the acquisition of seven office buildings in Texas, Colorado, Alabama, New Mexico, and Oklahoma in 2012. DailyMail.com obtained the transaction-related emails, which suggest Baturina’s Swiss firm, Inteco Management AG, supplied the investment.
Hunter Biden, now 52, has previously been linked to Baturina. Her late spouse, Yuri Luzhkov, led Russia’s capital for over 18 years until his 2010 dismissal by then-President Dmitry Medvedev.
Baturina, worth an estimated $1.4 billion, transferred $3.5 million in 2014 to a bank account belonging to Rosemont Seneca Thornton, a partnership between Hunter’s investment firm, Rosemont Seneca, and the Boston-based Thornton Group.

In a 2020 Senate Republican report investigating Hunter’s ties to Ukraine, the 2014 transfer drew attention after banks flagged Baturina’s transfers in suspicious activity reports to the US Treasury Department.
Hunter’s attorney, George Mesires, denied that his client profited from the transaction.

The GOP report, led by Sens. Ron Johnson and Chuck Grassley, identified Baturina’s connection with Hunter as “financial,” but didn’t investigate the transfer’s purpose. The $3.5 million recipient remains unidentified.
A mere two months post-transfer, Hunter and then-business associate Devon Archer met Baturina at Italy’s Villa d’Este, a popular Russian oligarch retreat overlooking Lake Como.
That month, emails from Hunter’s notorious laptop revealed Baturina’s name linked to a potential Chelsea, New York City property deal and a Latin American cocoa project.
Despite denying any knowledge of his son’s business ventures, President Biden attended a dinner with Hunter’s business colleagues at Washington DC’s Cafe Milano in April 2015.
Baturina and her late husband, who passed away in 2019 following heart surgery complications, were among the invitees.

Since Moscow’s February 24 invasion of Ukraine, Baturina notably evaded sanctions, garnering GOP lawmakers’ attention. In April, a group of 19 House Republicans addressed this issue in a letter to Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen.
The Kazakhstani Initiative on Asset Recovery, an anti-corruption organization, obtained leaked emails detailing Baturina’s $40 million real estate investments.
The correspondence involved Archer and Kazakhstani businessman Kenes Rakishev, who was photographed with Hunter and Joe Biden at the Cafe Milano dinner. Hunter’s attorneys did not promptly reply to The Post’s comment request.
