Ed Henry used to work at Fox News until being accused of sexual assault and raping a female employee. The employee, Jennifer Eckhart, describes brutal sexual assaults at Fox, which Henry claims never happened.
Since that time, Henry faced a significant amount of legal troubles, including being accused of sex trafficking under New York law.
Henry is now also facing revenge porn charges for his legal team submitting explicit photos of Eckhart to the court in an attempt to humiliate her.
What Happened?
Henry was fired in the summer of 2020 after being accused of rape. Eckhart said he viciously sexually assaulted her while doing sexual and “sadistic” acts on her body that left her scarred and bloodied.
She filed a lawsuit against him, detailing the alleged workplace savagery.
Henry said it was all completely untrue. Then, when entering the court process to try to have Eckhart’s lawsuit dismissed, he put in 15 sexually revealing photos of Eckhart that she’d sent him.
These were on the public docket, but Henry’s team said they were just “defensive” to prove that Eckhart and Henry had a consensual intimate relationship.
Fox News itself is being hit with a hostile work environment allegation, which it is calling “baseless.” The network says after a “thorough” examination of her accusations against Henry he was let go within a week “for cause.”
Fox says it acted entirely according to the law and as quickly as possible to turf Henry upon its discovery that there were grounds to fire him.
A defamation lawsuit from Henry saying their response made it seem like he was already proven guilty for the rape was dismissed on Sept. 20.
“Yes, I can still be shocked by these things,” CNN’s Alisyn Camerota says about details of a new lawsuit accusing former Fox News host Ed Henry of rape. “I’m sad that four years after Roger Ailes… the young women there feel like they’re still having to operate in this culture” pic.twitter.com/8v2lWPYrsl

Judge Comments
The judge said while Henry does have a right to “defend himself,” the manner in which his team submitted these explicit photos was inappropriate.
Eckhart says Henry not only raped and sadistically abused her, but also groomed her. He pressured her into being a submissive “sex slave” for him, abusing his higher position of authority in the network.
The rapes occurred at times when she declined to have sex with him, according to Eckhart. At this point, Henry will face the revenge porn and sex trafficking charges in court.
Henry now works for Steve Bannon’s network Real American Voice.
Past lawsuits against liberal networks like CNN and NPR, claiming they were spreading lies about him were dismissed; as mentioned, his attempt to sue his own former employer Fox for defamation failed.
Henry is no longer able to file suit against them; it was found he failed to prove the accusations against him were false or that Fox acted inappropriately in terminating his employment with them.
