Many Americans know Sarah Huckabee Sanders as the former White House press secretary. Sanders’ work in the White House preceded that of Kayleigh McEnany’s and now Jen Psaki’s; furthermore, as one of the press secretaries under the Trump administration, Sanders successfully earned the respect and admiration of many conservatives across the nation.

After Sanders stepped down from her position as the White House press secretary, many conservatives wondered what she would do next.

This morning, Sarah Sanders officially announced her decision to run for the position of Arkansas’s next governor, according to Townhall.

Sarah Sanders for Arkansas Governor

Sanders’ announcement of her campaign for governor of Arkansas arrived in a nearly-eight-minute video published on her social media channels.

In the footage, the former White House press secretary talks about her service under the Trump administration and her interactions with members of the Armed Forces. After speaking out about the dangers of the left’s “socialism” and “cancel culture,” Sanders warns the Democrats’ control of Washington leaves America’s governors as the “last line of defense.”

Closer to the halfway point of the video, Sanders makes a series of commitments regarding how she’ll lead as governor. These commitments include defending Arkansans’ rights to live freely, upholding Second Amendment rights, and maintaining free speech and religious liberty rights.

After discussing some of Arkansas’s history, greatness, and accomplishments, Sanders concludes her announcement by vowing to fight for Arkansans and stating that she’ll never bow down to the radical left.
