On Tuesday, Joe Biden campaigned alongside Georgia Democrats Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock. Both candidates are seeking to win election to the U.S. Senate, hence their heated runoff races against Republican Sens. David Perdue and Kelly Loeffler.

Democrats had quite a bit to say about their GOP rivals yesterday. While in Atlanta, Biden stated that Perdue and Loeffler would only block him from “getting things done” as president; he also attacked both Republican senators for backing legal efforts to challenge the 2020 presidential election.

By Democrats’ own admission, they want Ossoff and Warnock in the Senate in order to have full control without needing to work across the political aisle. However, on Tuesday evening, Sen. David Perdue had some choice words for Democrats, according to Breitbart News.

Sen. Perdue on Georgia Special Elections and Democrats

Yesterday evening, the Georgia GOP senator spoke with Fox News host Sean Hannity. While interviewing on-air, Perdue talked about the stakes in these Georgia special elections and why it’s so critical for himself and Sen. Kelly Loeffler to win re-election.

The Georgia Republican clearly explained that Democrats’ plans for America are not in the best interest of Americans. These plans entail voting rights for illegal aliens, shutting down the economy, defunding the police, gutting the military, and much more.

Throughout the Georgia special elections, Perdue has reminded residents of his track record of delivering COVID-19 relief (something that Ossoff opposed), supporting law enforcement, and much more.

Perdue is also adamant that as a political outsider, he brings a fresh and necessary perspective to the U.S. Senate; this marks a stark contrast from Ossoff who has repeatedly shopped for political office. Ossoff furthermore lacks the multiple decades of experience that Perdue has under his belt as a businessman-turned-politician.

Continuing to Defend the Majority

Perdue and Loeffler are going to continue campaigning until the very end. On Thursday, both GOP candidates will be alongside Vice President Mike Pence at Defend the Majority rallies in Columbus and Macon, Georgia.

This week, reports also broke that first son Donald Trump Jr. is planning to visit Georgia sometime soon to campaign for Loeffler and Perdue. Like other conservatives throughout the nation, Trump Jr. is resolute in the need for Georgians to vote for both of these Republican senators.
