Sadly, one of the numerous repercussions of Biden’s cognitive deterioration is a loss of discernment; this is evidenced by such rash judgments as appointing Vice President Kamala Harris to oversee the border.
The VP has no idea where she stands on this essential topic that must now be classified as a catastrophe, by any reasonable standard. She is a committed liberal and progressive; these kinds are notoriously pro-open borders. She is also a slimy politician who will say anything to save her dwindling credibility.

The U-Turn
Harris has now famously said in a press briefing that migrants should not come to the USA. Maybe we should feel happy for the backtrack if it implies a more sensible immigration policy will emerge; yet, how do we trust the current administration to police the border when it has made it clear that it is completely opposed to defending our sovereignty?

Harris may have believed she was giving herself some respite in the face of mounting public anxiety about the borders; although, by using those remarks, Harris put herself right in the path of the Marxist rioters who dominate her party’s political structure.
VP Harris wasn’t done sabotaging herself after inadvertently causing so much trouble with her statements. She weakly attempted to communicate her way out of her troubles during an NBC News interview with Lester Holt; during this interview, Holt questioned if Harris has any intentions to visit the Southern border.

Unfortunately for Harris, she lied. She implied that the administration has visited the border. Holt pointed this out when he pressed her by saying that Harris hasn’t yet been to the Mexico border. Harris stomped, pointed out that she also hasn’t been to Europe.
Harris Fights Back
Harris currently sees calls for her to go to the border as political games because her true duty is to address the causes of migration.
That’s a bold statement coming from the party’s second-in-command; after all, she established a lucrative business out of abusing photo opportunities at the border during Trump’s presidency.

When it comes to core issues, Harris can save effort by admitting that she and Biden encouraged this calamity by sending a clear message that their government will not police the Southern border.
Unemployment, despotism, and their repercussions in Central America are not the fundamental causes of people trying to cross our borders. However, they are among the reasons why so many people there and throughout the world want to come to America.
