Socialist senator Bernie Sanders and twice-unsuccessful presidential candidate Hillary Clinton haven’t had the best relationship with one another. In 2016, Sanders was stiffed out of the Democrat nomination when the DNC gifted Clinton with a host of superdelegates. Later down the line, Wikileaks emails would reveal that the failed candidate was also given debate questions ahead of time, thus providing her with a considerable edge over Sanders.
Despite winning the Democrat nomination, Hillary Clinton lost the 2016 general election, a defeat which shook her to her core. Since her loss, Clinton has blamed everything and everyone (other than herself, of course) for being embarrassed by President Trump. The twice-failed candidate infamously took aim at Sanders, claiming that he waited too long to endorse her campaign.

In addition to blaming Sanders, Clinton has faulted Russia, Republicans, Democrats, Fox News, Facebook, and countless others for her failure in 2016. However, she’s not quite done with Sanders just yet.
In a released excerpt from an upcoming documentary, Clinton ripped into the socialist senator, branding him as an unlikable career politician that no one wants to work with, notes Fox News.
A Closer Look at Clinton’s Forthcoming Documentary
Hillary Clinton’s upcoming documentary will stream on Hulu and cover the events comprising her life. This, of course, will inevitably include the 2016 presidential election and Clinton’s failed run to defeat Donald Trump.
Sanders’ name came up during Clinton’s documentary in light of his work in the Senate and presence in the 2016 presidential election. In her documentary, the twice-failed candidate professes that “no one” likes Sanders or wants to work with him; Clinton even takes things a step further, branding Sanders as a “career politician” who is merely full of “baloney.”
What’s most ironic here is that Clinton makes these remarks as if she herself is well-liked. The socialist senator and two-time failed presidential candidate have more in common than they’d both like to realize. Each of them are washed-up, disliked Democrats with terrible policies, minimal support, and hatred for those who dissent from them.
Like Clinton, Sanders is on his way to being a two-time failed presidential candidate. Even if Democrats nominate him, he will lose to Trump in the general election, just as Clinton did.
The DNC’s Plot Against Sanders
The aforementioned excerpts from Clinton’s upcoming documentary arrive at an interesting point. Due to the timing of the impeachment trial in the Senate, Sanders will be forced to spend time in Washington during these final days before Iowa caucuses. Observers of this situation have noted the edge this gives to Joe Biden. Biden isn’t a senator and, therefore, is free to continue campaigning in Iowa.

In the wake of Clinton’s attacks and the campaigning opportunities which Sanders will miss, this appears to be the DNC working behind the scenes to block the senator’s chances of winning the nomination. Political pundits and others have furthermore hypothesized that Biden will be handpicked for the 2020 nomination just as Clinton was in 2016; meanwhile, Bernie Sanders and his supporters will be left out in the cold…yet again.
