Within recent years, there’s been a turn of folks standing up against oppression and autocratic governments.
This has been seen with Canadian truckers protesting the nation’s strict COVID rules, Iranian women protesting after the death of Mahsa Amini, Americans saying no more to tight COVID restrictions, and Chinese citizens fighting back against the nation’s regulations on COVID.
From the looks of things, people can only be pushed so far before they push back. Now, new reports from The Daily Mail reveal that the youth in Iran are also combatting radical Islamic dogma.
What to Know About the Fight in Iran
Paramilitary officers in Iran are shown in leaked documents worrying over the nation’s young people not bowing down to the theology of Islam.
Specifically, these guards point out that Islamic dogma is no longer enough to contain the minds of those who’ve decided that enough is enough.
A turning point seems to have been truly sparked after Amini’s aforementioned death in 2022. The young woman is believed to have been murdered by Iran’s so-called “morality police” after some of her hair was seen showing from her hijab.

Following this, and the Iranian government declaring the arrival of public executions, young people across the country are rising up against the regime like never before.
The Amini death has likewise led to calls for Iran to be formally condemned on the world stage for various human rights abuses. How the regime proceeds going forward remains to be seen.
Though the events over the past several months make it very clear that most folks in Iran actually don’t want to live out their lives with the government’s boot on their necks.
Real-Life Examples
As Iranians tire of the regime’s tyranny, they’ve been doing things like setting petrol to the office of the Iranian Revolution Guard Corps, using paint and graffiti to send anti-regime messages, and even hitting Iranian details with fireworks and Molotov cocktails.
Various members of the regime have continued to attack dissenters and those protesting. Though rather than quell the demonstrations, attacks seem to be making the Iranian people angrier and more determined to stand up for themselves.

Observers around the world have likewise condemned Iran for its refusal to respect human rights and end its abuses of its own people.
The aforementioned leaked documents already show the Iranian regime is losing its grip over people in a way that it never has before. For supporters of human rights, this is a small win. Now, it remains to be seen if the people will ultimately prevail in the end.
