Since coming into the White House, Joe Biden has made himself enemy number one of America’s energy independence. Biden doesn’t care for energy independence because it’s not compatible with the radical climate change reforms his party wants to force into law.
Biden’s cut down pipelines, oil leases, drilling access, and other components that go hand in hand with US energy independence. Meanwhile, he’s going overseas and asking nations that aren’t too in favor of America to supply our nation with oil.
As the president makes these poorly calculated decisions, his allies are trying to dance around the issue. They want to create the perception that Biden isn’t as truly against domestic energy production as the right wing claims.
Though new remarks from Biden just proved that he is everything conservatives have been warning about, as documented by Breitbart News.
Biden on Oil Drilling
Days ago, the president traveled to New York in order to campaign for Democratic Gov. Kathy Hochul. It was during this time that Biden declared “no more drilling” is happening on his watch.
The president even went as far as saying that during his time in the White House, he has not “formed” more drilling. This is notably ironic, since just days ago, Biden was lashing out at oil companies, saying if only they drilled more, energy costs would decline.

This is coming from the same president who wants Americans to believe that higher energy costs are due to corporations price gouging. In reality, Biden’s own policies are sabotaging energy independence in America and he has zero intention of backing down on this.
At this rate, there is nothing that even the strongest defenders of the president can say to advance claims that he’s not really anti-energy. Biden said it loud and clear in New York and America heard him.
Not a Smart Strategy
Since Biden’s anti-drilling remarks, it’s been pointed out as silly to say this merely days before the midterms. Even Democrats like Pennsylvania’s John Fetterman are at least trying to pretend like they support energy-related policies, such as fracking.
However, the one silver lining is that Biden is revealing his true position and the position of the Democrat Party. This means Americans can head to the voter booths and be fully aware of what all is at stake.

Based on polls, Republicans are going to have a very good day on Tuesday. Unlike Democrats and the Biden administration, members of the GOP understand why energy independence is so important.
Republicans are also committed to lowering energy costs so Americans can breathe easier.
