Kari Lake is in the news a lot these days. Following her run for Arizona governor, there is also news that Lake will eventually make a run for Senate next year.
The Arizona Republican hasn’t officially confirmed this; however, there are multiple reports of her meeting with GOP power players and going over information that details how a campaign for Senate would vary from a campaign for governor.
Lake has likewise come out in support of former President Trump’s campaign to secure another term in office.
Though recently, the Arizona Republican made headlines for clashing with a reporter at this year’s Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), according to the Gateway Pundit.
What Happened?
Reporter Tim Miller, who is also a self-professed Never Trumper, approached Lake at CPAC to question her claims about Arizona’s 2022 gubernatorial election.
Miller challenged Lake’s allegations about election fraud and raised queries about whether or not Lake should shift her strategy to try appealing to moderate Republicans and other middle-of-the-road voters.

Lake noted that during her campaign, she worked to appeal to all voters. She likewise doubled down, stating the election she ran in was indeed rigged.
Eventually, after asking for the age of Miller (who revealed he’s in his 40s), Lake stated that he was dressed like a 13-year-old.

Supporters of Kari Lake took to Twitter, stating she did well and held her own against Tim Miller. Some folks also stated that Miller simply went to CPAC to start an argument with Lake, rather than to have a good faith conversation.

Lake responded well to the support she received on social media from folks who agree with her messaging. She’s also continued to post various updates about litigation in the aftermath of Arizona’s 2022 gubernatorial election.
Americans will have to stay tuned to find out whether or not Lake runs for any future offices later down the line.
