In this world, there’s a shelf life for just about everything. In the political world, this general rule is certainly applicable. Different people have their moments and time to occupy the spotlight.

In the best of scenarios, these individuals are able to realize when their time has come to an end and gracefully pass the baton. In the worst-case scenarios, unwanted individuals continue to hog the spotlight long after overstaying their welcome.

The Clinton family just so happens to fall into the latter category and Republicans aren’t the only ones who are sick of it. After losing the 2016 presidential election, Hillary Clinton couldn’t take it.

First, she wrote a memoir so that people would feel sorry for her. She then spent time touring the book and participating in various speaking engagements. For a while, Clinton disappeared only to annoyingly pop back out of the woodwork during the 2020 election.

In light of all this, left-wing comedian Bill Maher is urging the Clinton family to “go away,” per reports from The Daily Caller News Foundation.

Why Maher Wants the Clinton Family to Exit the Political Arena

Maher very clearly explained his reasons for wanting the Clinton family to leave and never return. In essence, the comedian views the Clinton family as a liability to the Democrat Party. He doesn’t want Americans to associate the Clintons with Democrats; Maher even went as far as to brand Bill Clinton as “damaged goods” and Hillary Clinton as a “Donald Trump asset.”

The comedian furthermore touched about Clinton’s tendency to pop out of the woodwork, despite no one asking for it. Maher accused the failed presidential candidate of “saying something crazy” and declared that if her family is at the 2020 Democrat convention, they should only be “on the video, waving or something.”

Hearing this kind of talk from someone who is staunchly left-wing and anti-Trump is remarkable. It also speaks to how deeply unpopular the Clinton family is, even amongst various partisan groups.

Will the Clintons Heed the Advice?

Thus far, there is zero evidence to suggest that the Clinton family will go away anytime soon. Hillary Clinton is already back at it again as she takes various shots at President Trump and 2020 Democrat Tulsi Gabbard.

After Clinton accused Gabbard of being a “Russian asset,” Gabbard slammed her as the “queen of warmongers” and dared her to enter the 2020 race. President Trump has also shared some choice words about Clinton after she branded the president as being “obsessed” with her and claimed that she can beat him “again.”
