A North Dakota court released a criminal on a $50,000 bond. This criminal killed a Republican teenager after feeling threatened by his political ideology.
Stutsman County prison records suggest 41-year-old Shannon Brandt killed a teenage boy, Cayler Ellingson, just because of his political inclination towards the Republican Party.
Left-Leaning Extremist Freed After Killing a Republican
On Sunday, Brandt claimed he hit a pedestrian named Cayler Ellingson with his car because he was feeling threatened by him. Brandt believed Ellingson called some people who were coming to kill him, so he killed Ellingson preemptively.
Later on, Brandt claimed the pedestrian was a Republican extremist who was threatening him. As Brandt had a political argument with Ellingson, he thought the teenager called a group of people to kill him, which prompted him to kill Ellingson with his car.
Firstly, Brandt ran away after the murder, but he came back to the crime scene later on from where he called 911. Eventually, Brandt was charged with vehicular killing and leaving the crime scene after the murder.

North Dakota Highway Patrol officer Bryan Niewind asserted law enforcement agencies are still investigating the authenticity of Brandt’s claims that he hit the teenager after a heated political argument.
So, Niewind continued, the police will reach a conclusion only after interviewing eyewitnesses about what exactly happened at the crime scene before Ellingson’s death.
Court records show Ellingson was moved to a nearby hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. The families of both Ellingson and Brandt appeared at the crime scene after the tragic murder.
According to Ellingson’s parents, they knew Brandt, but they were assured their son did not threaten anybody. Ellingson’s mother claimed that she was coming to pick up her son when he called her and complained some people were chasing him.

Mainstream Media Silent on Ellingson’s Death
Court records also show Brandt was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crime. Medical reports suggested the alcohol level in Brandt’s blood exceeded the legal limit of 0.08.
Killing people based on their political ideologies increases the fear of a civil war. Recent polls already established Americans suspect a civil war in the next ten years, due to the rising political bifurcation in the country.
Meanwhile, Trump’s son, Donald Trump Jr, slammed media outlets for not highlighting Ellingson’s murder.
On his Twitter account, Donald Trump Jr noted the mainstream media is silent on the murder of an 18-year-old conservative teenager, adding Biden’s hate against MAGA Republicans started showing its results.
As American media is completely broken, the story will remain hidden from most Americans, Trump Jr. added.
Since Biden’s igniting speech against MAGA Republicans, various left-wing extremists have initiated a wave of violent attacks against Republicans.
Last month, unknown people vandalized a GOP office in Florida, allegedly inspired by Biden’s extremist comments.
