The media’s annoyance with President Trump’s legal team is no secret. After, it was mainstream outlets that rushed to call Joe Biden the president-elect, even as states continued counting their votes.

Over the past several weeks, the Trump legal team and Republicans have put forth numerous pages of sworn affidavits that allege voter fraud and other irregularities. The president’s allies also reiterate that he has every right to pursue his concerns in a court of law, as is happening; however, the media doesn’t want to hear it.

As litigation remains ongoing, the attorneys and representatives behind President Trump are facing an increase of media attacks, according to Breitbart News.

Why the Media Can’t Stand the Trump Legal Team

The media very much has a vested interest in declaring that Biden is the winner. They want Americans to believe this without question and ignore accounts from voters, poll watchers, and others who allege massive cheating and fraud in this election.

Yesterday, CNN news anchor Jake Tapper blasted the president’s legal representatives. Tapper described ongoing litigation as “upside-down” and “quite literally insane.” He also alleged that the president’s legal aides have no proof to back up their claims; during Tapper’s tirade, he declined to mention the various sworn affidavits currently in the possession of the Trump team.

After complaining about the Trump legal team, Tapper also blasted the General Services Administration for currently refusing to begin a presidential transition.

Tapper stated that such refusal could interfere with Biden’s ability to deal with coronavirus; however, the General Services Administration has reiterated that they will not proceed with a transition until Biden is formally declared and certified as the president-elect.

The Continuation of the 2020 Election

The 2020 presidential race remains ongoing as states certify their votes and proceed with recounts and audits. Today, Michigan and Pennsylvania are projected to certify their election results; Georgia already certified its election results this past week.

Despite attacks from the media, President Trump’s legal team is still moving ahead with their disputes in the courts. Republicans have maintained that the president is within his rights to take up his concerns in a court of law, even if the media doesn’t like it.
