Most Americans Have Little Faith in Biden’s Inflation Reduction Act

Joe Biden’s spent ample amounts of time promoting the Inflation Reduction Act. Even after signing this bill into law, the president’s been screaming from the rooftops that it’s going to lower costs, improve healthcare, and make necessary investments in climate change.

Democrats have backed up Biden’s claims about this new law. However, Republicans warn that it will increase costs, raise taxes, and make life worse for much of the country.

GOP members likewise remain adamant that there’s no way for the United States to spend its way out of inflation via billion-dollar legislation.

Very recently, a new poll came out that bodes poorly for the president and his party, according to The Blaze.

Where Most Americans Stand on the Inflation Reduction Act

A fresh poll by NBC News reveals that Biden’s only convinced 26% of Americans that this latest expenditure will bring about improvements.

On the flip side, 71% of Americans agree the Inflation Reduction Act will either worsen the situations the nation faces or have no impact whatsoever.

In a Morning Consult poll, 34% of people predicted this new law would make inflation worse; whereas just 24% said they thought inflation would get better with the passage of this bill.

Various economists and nonpartisan groups have echoed the concerns of people who don’t believe this bill will improve inflation. This, too, comes as a blow to the Biden administration that very clearly wants Americans to be supportive of the Inflation Reduction Act.

A Major Strike Against Biden

As the president fails to convince most Americans about the merits of the law he signed, he’s continued to struggle in various other polls.

Previous polls during just this month alone show that support for Biden pursuing another term in the White House remains low. In California, Gov. Gavin Newsom has more support amongst his constituents to become the 2024 Democratic nominee than Biden does.

Additional surveys show that most Americans aren’t satisfied with Biden’s job performance. This follows polling which reveals the majority of US citizens believe the country is on the wrong track.

Suffering is up in Biden’s America; whereas the individuals documented as thriving are at an 18-month low. This information was revealed by Gallup.

To this very day, Biden and his party remain hammered over the Inflation Reduction Act and the methods they employed to pass this bill.

Democrats didn’t get a single vote from a Republican lawmaker. However, this didn’t stop them from ramming through the Inflation Reduction Act, just as they did with 2021’s American Rescue Plan.
