As the United States gets closer to the 2024 presidential election, a growing number of polls are coming out. Some have more credibility than others. However, they’re all being assessed by the American people, who are rooting for various candidates or prospective candidates.
Right now, it’s still pretty early in the election. More contenders on both sides of the aisle are expected to jump into the 2024 presidential race in the weeks and months to come.
So far, the polls to come out have covered both primary races and the potential match-up options for the general election.
According to the Gateway Pundit, a new poll involving former President Trump is now out.
A Closer Look at This Latest Poll
Rasmussen Reports teamed up with Political Media, Inc. in order to carry out a survey of people contacted online and by telephone. This poll of likely voters shows Trump carrying a several-point lead over Biden in a general election matchup.
Both Trump and Biden have declared their candidacies in the 2024 presidential election, each one confident they can beat the other.

The survey conducted by Rasmussen Reports also shows that a Trump ticket with Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis as his vice presidential candidate picks up more support than a Biden-Harris ticket.
Stay Tuned
Americans will have to stay tuned to see what comes next, which other candidates jump into the race, and who ultimately ends up winning the GOP and Democratic nominations.
In recent days, reports have indicated that DeSantis himself may get in the 2024 presidential race around June. This would be well after the Florida state legislature wraps up its special session.
