New details are now emerging about the FBI’s storming of Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida.
Dozens of agents spent over ten hours rifling through many areas of the main home, including in Trump’s locked safe and among Melania’s clothing.
Supposedly, they were worried he had broken the President Records Act and kept classified materials.
The warrant for the search had the reason of probable cause classified. Meanwhile, Joe Biden says he knew nothing about this. Then again, Biden doesn’t seem to know anything about, well, anything, so maybe he’s telling the truth.
What Did the FBI Seize?
The FBI apparently seized numerous boxes from Mar-a-Lago.
These were mainly full of generic records from Trump’s time as POTUS, souvenirs, and other memorabilia like messages written on cards from foreign presidents and such.
Hillary Clinton was able to hide over 30,000 e-mails and destroy her server while still escaping any raid, but Trump got hit for keeping a few messages from world leaders he befriended in office?
This raid was clearly politicized and also has a creepy angle when thinking of an army of feds sorting through Melania’s personal items and clothing.
With probable cause not revealed, it’s still unclear why the FBI was raiding Trump’s home. This looks more and more like what Florida Governor Ron DeSantis called it, a “weaponization” of our federal agencies.

A Flimsy Pretext
Maybe the FBI can justify this by saying they were looking for a note that Kim Jong Un scrawled to Trump or something like that.
Though in the process of going through Trump’s house, they had the chance to try to find any and everything else that could bulk up some kind of witch hunt against him.
This is the kind of thing that happens in Banana Republics and communist dictatorships, not the United States. At least it shouldn’t be!
As Trump said, this is a very “dark” and “dangerous” moment for the country. It certainly looks like the Department of Justice is weaponizing the FBI in conjunction with Liz Cheney and her January 6 Committee.
If former presidents got their houses stormed by armies of the FBI every time they were believed to have possibly infringed on the Presidential Records Act, then every former POTUS would never get a sound night’s sleep.
There is clearly a lot more to this; there’s no reason to believe the full story or extent of corruption has been revealed yet about what is going on here.

The Bottom Line
This is about humiliating Trump and trying to kneecap his likely upcoming presidential run for 2024.
If you think this is no big deal, imagine what the federal government can and will do to ordinary citizens if they do this to a former president.
