The Biden presidency, in less than 100 days, has already had negative impacts on the nation. Tens of thousands of jobs that existed prior to January 20, 2021 are gone thanks to Biden shutting down the construction permit that allowed Keystone Pipeline jobs.
Due to the Biden administration’s refusal to get behind the reopening of schools, children are still suffering. Countless studies confirm that extended periods of remote, online learning and no time spent in classrooms are damaging the social, psychological, and emotional growth of kids. Still, Biden is more beholden to keeping leftist teachers’ unions happy.
In light of these details, a new poll shows that more than six out of ten Americans view the 46th president favorably, per Newsmax.
How the U.S. Views President Biden
According to a survey conducted by Harvard CAPS/Harris, Biden has significantly high approval ratings. Of the 61% of American voters who claim to approve of the 46th president, 31% are Republicans. 39% of American voters, on the other hand, do not approve of President Biden’s job performance.

The numbers behind Biden’s approval rating get even more interesting when further broken down. 45% of Americans polled stated that the U.S. economy is heading in the wrong direction under Biden; however, 40% stated the complete opposite.
43% of U.S. voters stated in the poll that America is going in the proper direction; however, 47% believe that the country is not heading in the right direction.
Partisan Divides on the 46th President
Biden continues to face overwhelming criticism from Republicans and conservatives.
Many on the right-wing disapprove of how Biden is handling energy independence, the economy, and there are also questions about his cognitive abilities. The president’s American Rescue Plan is furthermore under fire from the GOP, due to less than 9% of the package actually going towards relief from COVID-19.
Democrats, on the other hand, are largely backing the Biden administration, as seen in polls.

At best, the left-wing has criticized the current president for watering down his promised $2,000 stimulus checks to $1,400; likewise, there’s also been controversy regarding Biden’s treatment of migrant children at the Southern border and his lack of support for canceling all student loan debt. For the most part, though, the American left is in lockstep behind the Biden administration.
