Earlier on Monday, North Korea fired two long-range missiles into the ocean off of the country’s eastern coast.
Not long after these long-range missiles were fired off, leader Kim Jong Un’s sister then threatened further launches unless military exercises between the United States and South Korea were stopped.
North Korea Fires Missiles
Based on a release on the government-operated Korean Central News Agency, Kim Yo Jong, one of the nation’s high leaders, stated the recurrence of utilizing the Pacific Ocean as their shooting range is contingent on the US military’s actions.
The ICBM launch by Pyongyang on Saturday was the country’s third such testing in much less than one year. Monday’s missile test was the second in as many days.
North Korea saw the US’ conduct of additional exercises with South Korea and Japan on Sunday in response to that test as provocative, in addition to this week’s nuclear simulation exercises between the United States and South Korea at the Pentagon.
In March, military exercises involving the partners are also anticipated on the Korean Peninsula. If the drills proceed, North Korea threatened unprecedented forceful reactions on Friday.

Kim's sister should remember that North Korea exists only by the mercy of the US military, and that we'll stick a missile up her ass if she doesn't watch her whore mouthhttps://t.co/WhbkXlAnW5— Тim King of Awesome, Duke of Fuckrussiaberg🇻🇦 (@Timaboutt0wn) February 20, 2023
According to Japan’s Defense Ministry, both rockets were launched on Monday at about 7:00 morning local time. They landed to the east of the Korean Peninsula, beyond Japan’s internal trade zone into the Sea of Japan, popularly called the East Sea.
According to a statement from the ministry, the first rocket flew approximately 400 kilometers (248 miles) at a cruising height of 100 kilometers (62 miles).
The latter was launched about ten minutes later at a cruising height of about 50 kilometers (31 miles), traveling approximately 350 kilometers (217 miles).
Asserting that Monday’s launch was a very big multiple missile launcher practice, which is a method of tactical nuclear assault, it’s said that North Korea admitted it.

South Korea views multi-rocket warheads larger than 600 mm to be ballistic missiles, according to KCNA, which reported the state launched two 600mm multi-rocket launcher (MRL) blasts.
Kim Yo Jong said in a statement on Monday that North Korea was prepared for additional launches and would take appropriate measures if it believed the deployment of US soldiers in the area posed a danger.
However, according to KCNA, Kim referred to the US when he declared that extremists who cause unrest will be punished.
The only thing left to do, according to Kim, is to concentrate on the number of troops, as North Korea already has sufficient technology and capacities for rocket recovery.
South Korea and America Prepared
As per South Korea’s Defense Ministry, the United States Air Force launched B-1B combat aircraft on the Korean Peninsula on Sunday with accompanying support from F-35A, F-15K, and F-16 aircraft first from South Korean and the American Air Forces.
