In recent years, COVID vaccines have been the source of a lot of controversies. The same can also be said of vaccines for the flu, albeit to a far lesser extent.
For a time, some Americans were mandated to carry around COVID vaccine passports. People had to show these passports in order to get service at certain businesses or even attend their jobs.
Many folks who didn’t get the vaccine saw themselves fired, including first responders like nurses, police officers, firefighters, etc.
If anything, this made COVID vaccine holdouts even more suspicious, generating questions about what was really driving such an aggressive push. Now, the Board of Health in Elko County, Nevada is considering banning these shots altogether, according to Review-Journal.
A Closer Look at Elko County’s Possible Decision
At the behest of Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, the Florida Supreme Court has agreed to an investigation involving malpractice and other potential issues with COVID vaccines and how they were marketed to the public.
Until the results of the investigation become public knowledge, the Board of Health in Elko County is pondering a moratorium on vaccines for both COVID and the flu.

Some members of the board have raised questions about whether they even have the authority to implement such a moratorium. Though others have endorsed a more wait-and-see approach.
The Elko County Board of Health could also cease advertising the aforementioned vaccines until the release of findings from the Florida Supreme Court’s approved investigation.
Americans Deserve the Truth
As things currently stand, it’s only a matter of time before the public learns what Elko County decides. Nevertheless, Americans across the country deserve answers about COVID vaccines, what vaccine manufacturers did/didn’t know, etc.
At the end of the day, the general public was told that COVID vaccines would stop the spread of the virus. This turned out to be false. Americans were then told that these shots were safe and effective. This, too, is not true in all cases.

As a matter of fact, myocarditis has been linked to young boys who end up taking the COVID vaccine. Moreover, there are investigations underway into the potential side effects of receiving these shots.
Right now, there are still a lot of things that people don’t know about these vaccines or what information may have been initially hidden. If the Florida Supreme Court can get to the bottom of all this and inform Americans accordingly, it will be a net positive for the country.
