Pelosi: I Pray for President Trump “All the Time!”

Over the course of this week, the Democrat Party has continued to push the narrative that President Trump violated his oath of office. The left claims that the supposed violation happened during the president’s previous phone call with the leader of Ukraine. Despite transcripts which have come out proving otherwise, Democrats maintain that Trump engaged in a quid-pro-quo by urging the Ukraine president to investigate Joe Biden and Hunter Biden whilst threatening to withhold aid.

On Tuesday, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced that the House of Representatives will move forward with an impeachment inquiry into President Trump. Earlier this morning, Pelosi appeared on MSNBC’s Morning Joe in order to discuss more on the impeachment inquiry and the president.

During her remarks, the House Speaker stated that she prays for President Trump “all the time” and asks God to “illuminate” him to see right from wrong; these statements were effectively documented by the Washington Examiner.

Reviewing Pelosi’s Latest Commentary on President Trump

When speaking with the co-hosts of Morning Joe, Pelosi stated that impeachment of a president is “serious” and should not be regarded as a joyful matter. Furthermore, the House Speaker noted her concerns with the way Trump has spoken about the whistleblower. During this time, Pelosi failed to mention that this whistleblower did not directly hear the conversation which they supposedly “blew the whistle on.”

Later in the interview, the House Speaker told the Morning Joe co-hosts that she remains prayerful for President Trump and his family.

“I pray for the president all the time. I pray for the safety of his family; wish that he would pray for the safety of other families and do something courageous on guns. but I also pray that God will illuminate him to see right from wrong. It’s very problematic.”

More from Speaker Pelosi

Since announcing that the House will move forward with an impeachment inquiry, Pelosi has accused the president of engaging in a “cover-up.” This claim comes after the whistleblower’s allegations that the Trump administration attempted to hide call records of the president’s conversation with his Ukrainian counterpart.

Zelensky has denied claims that Trump committed the offenses which the Democrat Party is now accusing him of. Were the House to gain the necessary votes to move forward with impeachment, the Senate would most definitely shut it down. This seems to be a reality which neither Pelosi nor other Democrats are willing to openly acknowledge.
