Pelosi Takes Aim at Trump and Senate Republicans

The impeachment inquiry has set off a chain of events into motion; one of those events just so happens to be a feud between President Trump and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

Yesterday, the Speaker took aim at Trump and Senate Republicans; she’s apparently not pleased about the fact that her impeachment inquiry is going nowhere. New reports from Fox News have confirmed that Pelosi takes issue with Trump’s language and Senate Republicans’ refusal to do her dirty work.

The president has also had his own choice words for the House Speaker. Yesterday, he rallied with supporters in Louisiana and cited the impeachment inquiry as evidence of Pelosi’s hatred for America. Trump furthermore warned that foreign countries think the United States is crazy for entertaining the impeachment inquiry.

Reviewing Pelosi’s Statements on Trump and Senate Republicans

Pelosi doesn’t like the fact that Trump has chosen to go after Joe Biden for enabling corruption in Ukraine. Instead of acknowledging the truly guilty party, the House Speaker instead chose to criticize the language which President Trump uses. This shouldn’t come as a shock to anyone, especially in light of the ways Pelosi has attacked the president without even having all the facts.

The House Speaker’s criticism of Trump came during a congressional caucus call and reads as follows:

“One thing, I do want to say is that POTUS – you know, that’s the President – POTUS has become a potty mouth and children are listening. This is beyond disgraceful. […] For him to say the thing that he said about Joe Biden last night was so far beyond the pale.”

Pelosi then bemoaned the fact that Senate Republicans aren’t going to support the impeachment of President Trump. The only reason Pelosi takes issue with this is because she knows that without the votes from the Senate, her impeachment inquiry goes absolutely nowhere.

“The Senate is saying, ‘Now that you are doing that, we are not doing it.’  You know, just because we have the courage to honor our oath of office doesn’t mean we have to fold to the cowardice of the Senate that is not going to honor theirs. The whole point of this inquiry is to save the Constitution of the United States.”

The Truth About Pelosi’s Motivations to Impeach Trump

It’s high-time that the House Speaker dropped the act and stopped pretending as if this impeachment inquiry is about “saving the Constitution.” If Democrats truly cared about the Constitution, they wouldn’t have been talking about impeachment since the moment that Trump was elected in office.

Remember, this current impeachment inquiry is not the first, second, or even third attempt to boot Trump from office. Democrats hate the fact that Hillary Clinton lost in 2016 and they’re subsequently trying to undo the results of the 2016 election.

No matter how many caucus calls Pelosi holds, it still doesn’t change the fact that Democrats’ impeachment inquiry is going absolutely nowhere and there’s absolutely nothing they can do about it.
