Planned Parenthood Spent Millions to Elect Pro-Choice Politicians

Abortion is becoming one of the most important issues for the midterm elections after the Roe v. Wade verdict of the Supreme Court. Planned Parenthood is pouring in more than $50 million to support pro-choice candidates in the November elections.

This marks the largest ever investment of the liberal organization in any election cycle since its inception in 1916.

Planned Parenthood Using Massive Money Against Pro-Abortion Politicians

On Wednesday, the far-left organization Planned Parenthood issued a press release, announcing the start of a new electoral spending program, namely “Take Control 2022.”

Under this program, the liberal organization aims to elect those politicians who champion the pro-abortion narrative.

In the first phase of the paid advertisements, the organization will target voters in nine different states, including Georgia, Arizona, New Hampshire, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Michigan, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and Nevada.

Reportedly, the pro-abortion group is expecting to reach more than six million voters with television ads, digital marketing, and phone banking. This is particularly in swing states where Independent voters are likely to decide the outcome of the elections.

While announcing the massive spending spree, the executive director of Planned Parenthood, Jenny Lawson, noted the upcoming elections are all about power and control, adding the Supreme Court deprived women of their fundamental human right to abortion.

If pro-life politicians remain in power, they will continue to snatch basic liberties from Americans, which will endanger the lives of pregnant women across the country, Lawson added.

Lawson also argued this year’s midterm elections are high-staked, which is the reason why the liberal organization is starting its largest ever campaign against anti-abortion politicians.

Liberal Organizations Only Want to Protect Their Lucrative Abortion Business

However, pro-life organizations slammed Planned Parenthood for announcing such a massive funding drive to back leftist politicians.

According to the spokesperson of Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America, which is the political wing of the anti-abortion movement, Planned Parenthood desperately wants to protect the lucrative illegal abortion business. 

This brings them a staggering amount of money at the expense of the lives of unborn children.

Even though different polls insisted average American voters rejected the radical idea of unrestricted abortion, liberal organizations are still trying to promote abortion access across the country, the SBA spokesperson claimed.

The spokesperson then referred to a recent poll that suggests 72% of Americans do not support abortion after 15 weeks.

Furthermore, the right-wing group also bragged about its own efforts to help pro-life candidates in winning their elections.

As per the SBA spokesperson, Republican candidates should properly tackle the smear campaign against them by defining their stance on abortion access so pro-choice politicians do not manage to brainwash the masses.

In addition to that, the spokesperson asserted the SBA visited more than 2.5 million homes in battleground states to create awareness against the radical abortion agenda in the United States.
