There is a lot of news swarming former President Trump these days.
Earlier this month, Americans learned that the former president pulled down his communications platform after less than four weeks. Jason Miller, an aide to Trump, noted that while the Desk of Donald J. Trump will not be coming back, the former president does have other things in the works.
Yesterday, Americans also learned that Facebook is keeping in place its ban against Trump’s account until January 7, 2023. Facebook later announced the possibility of further extending Trump’s ban from the site even then.
Now, Newsmax is reporting that Trump could possibly run for Speaker of the House in 2022.
House Speaker Donald J. Trump?
Yesterday, the former president spoke with Republican radio host Wayne Allyn Root. During this interview, Root informed Trump that one of his former advisers wants him to seek the speakership next year. Trump, for his part, said that such a prospect was “so interesting.”
Fox's Jason Chaffetz: "Under the Constitution, you don't need to be a member of Congress to be elected the Speaker of the House. So put Donald Trump in as Speaker of the House and he can go out and investigate everybody and he can impeach everybody…It would make for great TV" pic.twitter.com/Zh3k2A1KJJ

House Speaker is not the only position that some have encouraged the former president to run for. Others believe that having Trump in office as a U.S. senator would be great as well. To this end, the former president suggested that a senatorial run “might be better” than seeking the role of House Speaker.

Speaker Donald Trump and Senator Donald Trump are each interesting prospects. However, many Americans are still waiting to see whether or not Trump runs for president again in 2024.
Time will tell whether Trump seeks public office again or simply puts his energy into backing more America First conservatives.
The Likeliest Candidate for House Speaker
Right now, conservatives are hard at work to retire Nancy Pelosi, the current House Speaker. In order to make this happen, Republicans need to take back the House majority from the Democrat Party in 2022.
Multiple polls have shown that the House GOP is viewed as poised to win back the majority come next year. For starters, House Democrats have the slimmest majority that they’ve had in history. Likewise, between redistricting, growing discontent over crime increases in leftist cities, Democrats have their work cut out.
One of the very first things Biden did as President was send hundreds of millions of American tax dollars to the World Health Organization—with no penalties whatsoever—even after they lied about China’s role in the COVID coverup.

Should the GOP take back the House of Representatives, House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy is the likeliest candidate for House Speaker. McCarthy is not only the top House Republican and a Trump ally, but he is also widely popular amongst House Republicans.
