If you’re part of the gender identity movement, a member of the LGBTQ community, or just willing to learn about all the things wrong with society in 2022, then the University of Nevada in Reno has got just the program for you.
According to their website, a new minor will be premiering at the university this year, aptly named “LGBTQ studies.”
It is going hand in hand with the dozens of questionable changes to the school curriculum across the US.
Social studies just got a whole lot more complex
The minor is set to include six different courses, all of which could easily be found in some lib buzzword guidebooks.
It is ranging from history and politics related to the LGBTQ community all the way to arts, humanities, and social sciences.

What’s more, aside from just diving headfirst into the history of the LGBTQ community, the minor is also set to create discourse on the topic of racism; albeit only through the interconnectedness of the “various” genders with race and ethnicity.
Some of the courses listed on the website include Visualising Queer Memory, History of LGBTQ Music, US Writers of Color, Structural Oppression, and finally, the left’s favorite topic, Men and Masculinities.
It’s no surprise an entire course focused on indoctrinating young people into the “woke” ideology also includes the “white man bad” narrative, even if it’s got nothing to do with the course’s name itself.

Getting a job as an LGBTQ studies graduate
As for the qualifications of someone studying these topics, they don’t reach much farther than just educating someone else on the same ideas presented to them in this “academic” course; although only time will tell.
Maybe one day we’ll have queer-only positions in companies. All of these LGBTQ studies graduates will be laughing in the faces of us commoners that chose to work towards a tangible goal rather than a currently popular narrative.
That’s not to say the University of Nevada doesn’t provide majors in the field as well, with there already being Bachelor level studies for Gender, Race, Identity, Black Studies, Latinx Studies, and even Master level studies for the aforementioned topics.
Although one’s job qualifications don’t improve a whole lot with either of these.

However, everything comes with a price.
Learning to be woke is among the pricier courses at the University of Nevada, where anyone who applies for LGBTQ studies can expect a significant increase in their tuition.
This is worsened by the fact that average tuition in the US has increased by approximately 2.8% in the past two academic years.
With inflation still on the rise, college is now more expensive than ever; although the brainwashed left will be quick to tell you social progress is priceless.
