The commander-in-chief spoke about the ongoing presidential race, both with the media and on Twitter. While speaking with the press in person, Trump explained that the election was “a fraud” due to the amount of cheating and irregularities; the president therefore also pointed out that giving a concession of the race would be difficult.

President Trump’s Thanksgiving messages extended far beyond talks about the 2020 presidential election.

In addition to discussing this year’s presidential race, Trump also sent a warm Thanksgiving address to members of the Armed Forces. In doing so, the president thanked military members for their service and noted the value of their sacrifices for this nation’s freedoms.

In other remarks, Trump shared updates about the distribution of a vaccine for coronavirus. Per the president, some Americans will have access to the COVID-19 injection as soon as next week.
