This Wednesday, there is quite a bit happening in American politics.

First and foremost, Georgia Democrats Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff are projected to beat Republican Congressmembers Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue. If this happens, then Republicans will lose the Senate majority; this loss will furthermore result in Democrats gaining congressional dominance along with control of the White House in two weeks.

As the Georgia runoffs play out, so are events in Washington D.C. At the nation’s capital, supporters of President Trump are gathered outside of the White House and other buildings of significance; as reported by Breitbart News, these gatherings are a means of protesting the congressional confirmation of Joe Biden as the next American president.

The “Save America” Rally

Many Trump supporters and conservatives are very concerned about the future of America. In two weeks from today, Joe Biden is expected to be inaugurated as president of the United States; however, many Republicans in both the Senate and the House are vowing to resist today’s congressional events that will precede the inauguration.

In Washington D.C., supporters of Trump are outside of the White House Ellipsis. The president himself has promised to speak at the Save America rally later today; additional speakers listed to share remarks include Donald Trump Jr., conservative activist Scott Presler, and many others.

Will D.C. Turn Violent?

In the days leading up to this one, concerns about potential violence have been expressed. Some people are questioning whether or not radical leftist groups like Black Lives Matter and Antifa will appear in D.C. to start fights with Trump supporters and other Republicans.

The general sentiment in D.C. is that stolen elections are dangerous for the nation, as is full leftist control. The majority of Republicans across America still do not view the 2020 presidential election as clean, free, or fair. Therefore, folks on the right feel the obligation to fight back, resist, and make their voices heard.

Thus far, congressional Republicans who plan to resist today’s formal proceedings in Washington vow that the fight for honest elections in America begins now. This comes amid already-existing rumors of fraud and irregularities in the Georgia runoffs.
