Trump Unveils New Claim About 2024 Presidential Election

The 2024 presidential election is rapidly approaching, especially as we all get further into 2023.

Earlier this week, Joe Biden came out and confirmed that he does, in fact, intend to run for president in 2024. Also running is former President Trump. Though more contenders on the GOP and Democratic sides are expected to declare their own runs in the months ahead.

In a new development reported by Newsmax, Trump just revealed more about what he thinks is going on with the race that will determine who spends the next four years as president.

Live From Truth Social

Taking to Truth Social, Trump claimed the “boxes hoax” is simply a roundabout way for Democrats to steal elections. This was a reference to the investigation into Trump’s alleged handling of classified documents after he left the White House in early 2021.

Some reports indicate that Trump may face another indictment over this matter. This would be the second indictment, as the former president already faces one over funds paid to adult film actress Stormy Daniels during the 2016 presidential election.

After slamming the “boxes hoax,” Trump went on to describe America’s legal system as “corrupt” and said his allies are being unfairly targeted by “Trump haters.”

Many supporters of the former president also share these same concerns.

More from Trump

Trump recently released a 2024 campaign ad that shows him walking into court for arraignment after being indicted barely weeks ago. Reports also note that Trump’s presidential campaign has managed to fundraise off the ordeal as well.

On Truth Social, others weighed in with their views about the legal action surrounding the former president. Many respondents stated Trump is being persecuted, set up, and targeted to sabotage his chances in the 2024 presidential election.

It remains to be seen if other district attorneys bring charges against Trump that pertain to the handling of classified documents.
