While everyone’s waiting for Trump to make his much-anticipated announcement regarding the 2024 presidential election, many believe the delay has been made specifically not to impact the results of this year’s midterm elections.
The actual date has been floating around Trump’s inner circles. They’re hoping to ride the red wave that’s coming on Election Day this week, adding the November 14th announcement date is still subject to change.
Trump prepares his re-election announcement
Despite the polls being largely in Republicans’ favor, the final announcement and its timing are bound to be impacted by the results of the midterms, meaning a failure to retake the Senate may force the Trump team to put things on hold for a short while.

It’s been months since Trump started hinting at a second run during his speeches at Republican congressional candidates’ rallies; although he never explicitly confirmed he will actually do it.
Last week on Thursday, during a rally in Sioux City, Iowa, Trump stated he’s probably going to run again, with the intent to make the US successful and glorious once again, telling his followers to get ready because the official announcement is right around the corner.
On a side note, Trump is more than eager to start off his presidential campaign, even this early, especially now that several investigations into his conduct at the White House, as well as his actions upon leaving, have come up short.

Biden struggles to keep the Democrat Party on its feet
On the other hand, though, Biden is working overtime to salvage what little the Democrat Party has left, now that they’re facing an imminent loss of House and Senate control.
According to Biden, who came to Democrat Rep. Mike Levin’s rally in San Diego County, California, the outcome of the election could determine the direction this country is headed for the next decade or so.
What he failed to grasp is that his governing for the past two years has left little to the imagination when it comes to what Democrats are willing to do for this country. Seeing as he’s driven the US straight into an economic crisis, few will actually buy into his nonsense.

The very fact that Biden chose to appear at a rally speaks volumes of how endangered Democrats really are in these midterms. With the GOP taking over the House and Senate, the second half of Biden’s term will be a nightmare, for him at least.
Of course, nothing is settled until the final ballot is cast. We can only wait until the end of Election Day to celebrate, but with the odds stacked against them, there’s little to no chance for Democrats to win this time around.
