The recent firing of Tucker Carlson from his nightly broadcast on Fox News came as a shock to almost everyone, but Tucker is still technically employed by Fox.
In fact, they’re paying him to still work for them, yet not give any broadcasts until the contract expires in 2025. Can Tucker break this and jump ship for another platform or will he be silenced?
Tucker Wants Back In
Tucker only posted a several-minute clip on Twitter since being fired from his show. Whereas sources close to him say he wants back in; new reports say he is actually in discussions with Elon Musk to start a new media outlet.
Tucker’s contract at Fox isn’t over until January 2025. It’s clear he’s not cool with keeping quiet until then, especially given the many events causing chaos in this country.
As a literal invasion stacks up at the southern border ahead of the expiry of Title 42, Tucker’s voice is more crucial than ever.

Competition For A Conservative Voice
Newsmax and Valuetainment headed by Patrick Bet David expressed interest in Carlson. Bet David offered Tucker $100 million over the next five years, which is about what he’s making at Fox ($15 to $20 million per year).
Leaks coming out of Fox to try to lie that he is racist or hateful have been all over the leftist media.
Fox claims they don’t know the source of the leak. It sent a legal letter to Media Matters for America (MMFA) telling the far-left extremists to stop and saying MMFA got the material illegally.

The Bottom Line
At this point, Tucker will need to discuss his next move with his lawyers and with Fox. Though don’t be surprised to see him back on air or even on a newly-created network in the next few months.
At this point, anything is possible.
