Throughout the 2020 presidential election, candidate Tulsi Gabbard has stood out from other Democrats in many ways. First and foremost, Gabbard hasn’t hesitated to break from the party on certain issues or publically note areas where she believes the Democrat Party falls short.
Towards the end of last year, Gabbard sparred with Hillary Clinton after the twice-failed presidential candidate accused her of being a Russian asset. The war veteran promptly fired back, branding Clinton as the “queen of warmongers” and “personification of the rot” within the Democrat Party. Clinton’s unfounded accusations also caused several prominent political figures to come to Gabbard’s defense, one of them being President Trump himself.

Since her time as a presidential candidate, Gabbard has taken some heat for her willingness to appear on Fox News. Unlike many other running Democrats, Gabbard hasn’t disparaged Fox News or the millions of Americans who tune into the network.
As a matter of fact, Gabbard stated last week that going on the network allows her to “speak to millions of people,” including President Trump.
Gabbard on Why She Goes on Fox News

As a matter of fact, the veteran maintains that appearing on the station allows her to spread her message to all kinds of voters and talk to “millions” of Americans, including the president himself.
When sitting down with Hill.TV, Gabbard also lauded the “diversity of views” and warned against blocking off “a huge segment of the population.”
The 2020 Democrat’s take on this matter differs from other Democrats; last year, former candidate Sen. Kamala Harris slammed Gabbard for her willingness to speak with Fox News viewers. Likewise, Elizabeth Warren, another candidate for president, has actually denigrated conservatives and others who tune into Fox News.
More on Gabbard’s Candidacy
Throughout Tulsi Gabbard’s time as a presidential candidate, she’s struggled to compete with some of the leading Democrats in the 2020 race. However, the war veteran has earned a certain level of respect amongst certain folks on the right-wing, despite many of her policies.
Of all running Democrats, Gabbard has demonstrated the greatest willingness to hear out people from various sides of the aisle, even Americans who disagree with her. However, the 2020 Democrat still articulates her viewpoints regardless of whether they conflict with Republicans or people within her own party.
